The upcoming Caribou Math Competition will be held from November 13-14, 2019. Students in grades 1 through 12 will be competing in the following:
For grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Tangram https://cariboutests. com/games/tangram.php
For grades 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 – Chomp https://cariboutests.com/ games/chomp.php
For grades 11 & 12 – GeomeTree construction involving triangles (to be confirmed)
Though it is not certain, we also encourage students to practice some Calcrostic questions as they are usually also found on the test. They can be found on the Calcrostic section in the Games page: https://cariboutests. com/games/calcrostic.php
Students can practice these now on the Games page. Access to the games will end on Tuesday November 12th and will be unavailable during the contest times.
For grades 3 to 12, there will be a history question about Emmy Noether. There is information on Emmy Noether located on the History page found on Caribou Math.
We encourage students to bring their personal devices on the day of the contest.
