We had a great visit to Parliament this week. Students got to do a tour all about symbols. They asked lots of great questions to our guide. We followed up with a discussion in class about how this field trip could relate to our unit of inquiry.

Students are currently working on a drawing and explanation entitled, “Le héros, c’est moi.” They are drawing a picture illustrating a time in their lives where they felt they acted as a hero, and then presenting it to the class.

Next week, students will be working on their final drafts of their summative assignment, “Une lettre à mon héros”. This weekend, they were asked to bring home their rough drafts to show their parents/guardians. Maybe you could help them come up with some things they may want to add to their letters.
