Established in 1998, Académie de la Capitale is an independent, bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We offer a global education of high academic standards through the inquiry-based Primary Years Programme (the PYP), a highly recognised international curriculum for students aged 3-12 years. Académie de la Capitale is expanding into middle school with the addition of Grade 8, adding one year at a time from there on.
We are the only school in Ottawa, offering the PYP in a french/bilingual setting. Our school was awarded "World School" status by the International Baccalaureate in 2004.
