​This week, Acadecap participated in Orange Shirt Day, honouring First Nations’ children. After watching videos and discussing the significance of the day, we looked at First Nations’ art. The students either drew different First Nations drawings, paintings, or sculptures, or created their own interpretations based off the art. They seemed to really enjoy themselves and were able to incorporate their personal flair into their drawings.
