With the arrival of colder weather comes an array of new learning possibilities.
Our Kindergarten class was excited to discover that ice had formed on different surfaces in our play yard. We talked about characteristics of the ice, such as the temperature, texture and overall appearance of many different pieces . We observed that many pieces of ice had leaves imbedded in them, similar to the appearance of fossils in rocks.
