Admission Requirements
Prior to acceptance, each student must spend one day at Acadèmie de la Capitale where he or she will be evaluated in terms of willingness and ability to participate in the inquiry and to learn independently as well as cooperatively. A copy of the child's last report card as well as two sample works must be remitted to the Registrar on the day of the visit.
Any or all psycho-educational reports should be handed in at this time. The following week, a meeting/interview will be scheduled with the director, the parents/guardian and the student to review the student's evaluation
Students entering Grades 2 to 7 may be required to an entrance test which will be used as a tool to provide the school with information on the learning abilities of each student. A comparable test will be offered in French for francophone students.
Students entering Grade 4 and up must submit a recommendation form from the previous homeroom teacher, subject teachers, counselor and/or director.
