Back for more workshops, the University of Ottawa’s Maker Mobile Program never fails to impress. This visit consisted of two workshops, a laser cutting workshop and a programming workshop. The grade 3 and 4 students did the laser cutting workshop, they designed a birdhouse on the computer and once they finished, it was time to cut their model! The kindergarten, grade 1 and 2 students got their programming skills on! After a demonstration about how specific you have to be when commanding a computer, they had the task of programming their robots through a maze. A morning of great fun and learning!
