Summer Day Camps
Learning Never Stops at Academie de la Capitale! Every summer, we open our doors to students of all ages by offering various summer day camps:
Our AcadeCamp Kinder (children aged 4-5) and AcadeCamp (children aged 6 – 9) camps are bilingual i.S.T.E.A.M. summer camps and AcadeCoders Jr. (children aged 8 – 10) and AcadeCoders (aged 11+) are our Robotics and Coding camps.
Our camps combine indoor learning activities and outdoor play. Every day programming includes campers of all ages participating in a specialized Athletik programme, focusing on various independent and group sports skills each week.
The day camps operate from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (except on holidays), with a morning and afternoon supervision option that allows for drop offs as early as 8:00 AM and pickups as late as 5:00 PM. We offer Monday pizza and Tuesday-Friday lunch options as well.

AcadeCamp Kinders (ages 4 & 5)
Embark on a summer camp journey with AcadeCamp Kinders, crafted for ages 4 and 5! This unique summer camp blends art gallery exploration with outdoor play, sparking creativity and early STEAM learning. Kindercampers dive into famous art and artists, uncovering their connections to mathematics through hands-on activities. This STEAM camp for preschoolers builds artistic expression, mathematical reasoning, and spatial skills with age-adapted fun, including logic games and outdoor recreation.
AcadeCamp (ages 6 to 9)
AcadeCamp offers an exciting summer camp experience for kids ages 6-9, combining art, math, and outdoor fun in Ottawa. Campers explore famous artists and their mathematical influences, engaging in STEAM camp activities like 2D and 3D shape design, grids, multiplication, fractions, patterns, and measurement. Each week, kids create original artwork inspired by math-driven art forms, such as music and dance, while enjoying enrichment from Dimensions Math, based on Singapore’s renowned pedagogy. It’s the perfect summer learning camp for young innovators!
AcadeCoders Jr. (ages 8 to 10)
AcadeCoders Jr. is a top coding camp and STEAM camp for kids ages 8-10, introducing young learners to coding, robotics, and technology through interactive projects. With 8 unique weeks, each session offers focused learning goals and a take-home final project, blending summer camp fun with outdoor physical activities. AcadeCoders (ages 11+)

How much do AcadeCap summer camps cost in 2025?
Pricing for our 2025 summer camps varies by program and week. AcadeCamp Kinders (ages 4-5) costs $340 per 5-day week or $272 per 4-day holiday week, with a discounted full 8-week rate of $2,325. AcadeCoders (ages 11+) is $375 per 5-day week or $300 per 4-day holiday week, with an 8-week total of $2,565. Optional add-ons include the SMILE literacy program (4 weeks, $990), pre/post-camp care ($55/5-day week, $45/4-day week), and the lunch program ($65/5-day week with pizza, $55/4-day week). What are the daily hours for your summer camps?
Our summer camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 3448 Richmond Rd., Ottawa. We also offer optional early care starting at 8:00 AM for $55 per 5-day week or $45 per 4-day week, and late care until 5:00 PM for the same rates, providing added convenience. Details will be provided during registration for your STEM camp or coding camp session.
What’s included in the catered lunch program?
Campers can opt into our catered lunch program, featuring delicious meals crafted by Chef Eric from Dial A Chef. Known for stress-free, high-quality catering in Ottawa, Chef Eric brings his expertise to our summer camps with fresh, kid-friendly options tailored to fuel a day of STEM camp and coding camp fun. Menus vary weekly and can accommodate dietary needs—contact us during registration to learn more about this add-on for your child’s summer camp experience!
What is the SMILE program at AcadeCap summer camps?
The SMILE program (Systematic Multisensory Intensive Literacy Education) is an Orton-Gillingham-based add-on for kids with reading and writing difficulties, available during weeks 4-8 of our Ottawa summer camps. It includes 45-minute daily sessions (4 days during holiday weeks) for 4 weeks minimum ($990), using visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile methods to boost literacy skills alongside STEM camp or coding camp activities. Pre- and post-testing is provided if needed—perfect for a well-rounded summer learning experience!
Are your summer camps only for students who attend AcadeCap school?
No, our summer camps are open to everyone, not just AcadeCap students! Kids from across Ottawa and beyond are welcome to join our STEM camps and coding camps at 3448 Richmond Rd. Whether your child attends our school or not, they can enjoy a summer of learning, creativity, and fun with us.
Do campers need to bring their own devices for coding camps?
No devices are required—AcadeCap provides all necessary equipment for our coding camps and STEM camps, including computers and robotics tools. However, campers are welcome to bring their own devices if they prefer, giving them flexibility while ensuring everyone can fully participate in the summer camp activities.
