Private School Bells Corners, ON -
Helping Students Build
Academic Excellence
and Confidence

AcadeCap International School welcomes families from Bells Corners to its Ottawa campus. Our micro-school combines the Ontario curriculum with small class sizes and personalized attention. Students receive the guidance they need to build strong academics and work with greater independence.

Families seeking a private school Bells Corners students can attend can explore our approach to education.

Small Class Size

Small classes allow teachers to identify gaps early and adjust instruction as students work. Once understanding is secure, the student can move forward with confidence.

Learning How to Learn

Educators help students recognize how they learn and when to ask for support. With practice, they begin choosing useful strategies for themselves.

Post Secondary Connection

AcadeCap follows the Ontario curriculum and provides a pathway to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Students develop the skills and responsibility needed for life after high school.

Families comparing schools are welcome to discuss their child’s goals with us.

I will always be grateful for the amazing educational years C. SM. had with your fantastic educational team. Her dedication for higher education, her strive to always do her best, her inquisitive mind and love of learning comes from the strong foundation taught to her by you and your teachers.

As part of our school-wide recognition of Truth and Reconciliation, students across all ages reflected on the history and ongoing impact of residential schools in Canada. Through guided discussions and shared learning, they explored the importance of honouring the children who were taken from their families, the resilience of Indigenous communities, and our collective responsibility to seek truth, healing, and justice.

Inspired by the teachings of butterflies, sunflowers, and hummingbirds, students created artwork representing transformation, remembrance, and resilience. These natural symbols carry both ecological importance and deep Indigenous significance, reminding us to face the past with truth and move forward with hope.

AcadeCap - What Sets our Private School in Ottawa Apart

Teachers know each student’s work in detail, giving them a reliable view of the child’s progress throughout the year. Their observations shape daily instruction and keep expectations appropriate at each stage of development. The academy’s programs encourage students to take greater ownership of their education while building the judgement needed to become confident, well-rounded individuals.

Individualized Learning

Every student begins from a different point. Teachers respond to current understanding, addressing difficulties early and introducing more advanced work when the foundation is secure. Within this supportive environment, learners have time to develop their strengths and work toward their full potential.

Competency-Based Curricula

Essential skills receive the time they require. Students revisit key concepts until they can apply them consistently across subjects, including English and science. This focus on mastery gives new learning a firm base and prepares students to succeed as the work becomes more complex.

Learning Community

A clear and familiar rhythm helps students approach each school day with confidence. They understand what is expected and feel comfortable speaking with an educator when questions arise. This sense of trust supports participation and gives students room to grow within the wider school community.

Expert Educators

Evidence guides instruction. Teachers adjust their approach according to what a student’s work reveals, ensuring that support remains relevant from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Their experience helps each learner build the independence required for lasting academic success.

Extended Learning

Learning gains relevance when students can use it beyond a lesson. AcadeCap’s extended learning programs create opportunities to explore the arts, technology and physical activity through clubs or curriculum-connected outings. These experiences allow students of different ages to follow their curiosity and develop creativity in new ways.

Third Teacher Environment

The arrangement of classrooms and shared facilities affects how students concentrate. AcadeCap’s learning spaces are designed to support purposeful movement while helping learners remain settled and engaged. Families who would like to see the campus can contact AcadeCap to request a visit and get started today.

Mme Lucie Lalonde - Founding Director

“We aim to develop academically successful students, who also have the curiosity to question, the rigour to excel, and the courage to act. This courage is born of experience acquired from being challenged, cultivating antifragility and having agency. The AcadeCap student is unlike any other.”
