Introducing the Procedural Writing Unit

Today the Grade 3/4s began their new English unit on procedural writing. I kicked off the unit by having students listen to my step-by-step instructions to draw a mystery picture.
The students found it very amusing to see each other’s final drawings!

Students reflected on the importance of clear and precise instruction in order to complete a task properly.
