We prioritize reflection, critical thinking, and academic discipline so students develop the habits that sustain lifelong learning; explore more through our education approach.

Our micro-school model supports academic depth while meeting Ontario curriculum expectations. Students complete required coursework with clarity and mastery, positioning them for admission to colleges and universities of choice. As part of our school-wide recognition of Truth and Reconciliation, students across all ages reflected on the history and ongoing impact of residential schools in Canada. Through guided discussions and shared learning, they explored the importance of honouring the children who were taken from their families, the resilience of Indigenous communities, and our collective responsibility to seek truth, healing, and justice.

Inspired by the teachings of butterflies, sunflowers, and hummingbirds, students created artwork representing transformation, remembrance, and resilience. These natural symbols carry both ecological importance and deep Indigenous significance, reminding us to face the past with truth and move forward with hope.

Mme Lucie Lalonde - Founding Director

“We aim to develop academically successful students, who also have the curiosity to question, the rigour to excel, and the courage to act. This courage is born of experience acquired from being challenged, cultivating antifragility and having agency. The AcadeCap student is unlike any other.”
