SMILE is our special programme for students who are struggling with reading and writing. During a SMILE class, students work 1:1 or in small groups to review and consolidate reading strategies and spelling rules in an integrated reading-writing format. SMILE teachers support the students using an explicit approach based on the Orton-Gillingham method. Please enjoy a piece of pie featuring vowel team “ie.”
