We have been reading, discussing, singing, and creating actions for the story “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” by Roxanne Lanczak Williams. Today we made a web about things that we can reuse based on the book. The students talked about making crafts out of unwanted items such as boxes, egg cartons old paper etc. I encourage you to help your child create a “junk box” at home with items that can be reused for many purposes including crafts. The students were discussing making crafts out of these items. If you do this please send it in to school. This is a great way students can take action at home by applying what they are learning at school.
