Established in 1998, Académie de la Capitale, aka Acadecap International School, invites you to our by appointment open house from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

AcadeCap is proud to be Ottawa’s first IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) authorized school! For children in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, the IB PYP nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. Its transdisciplinary approach ensures that learners make connections between, across, and beyond subjects.

The Pre-Secondary School Programme (PSSP) and Ontario Secondary School Diploma Programme (OSSD) is for students in Grade 7 to 12. We maintain an overarching interdisciplinary approach throughout the PSSP (Grades 7 and 8) and a multidisciplinary approach at the OSSD (Grades 9 to 12) via our 3-tier 21st Century Learning Curriculum in which the following core competencies are developed:

Communication
Self-Management, Life and Career
Collaborative Problem Solving
Complex Problem Solving
Literacies Proficiencies (Information Communication Technologies, Digital, Media, Scientific, Financial and Entrepreneurship).
