Established in 1998, Académie de la Capitale, aka Acadecap International School, invites you to our virtual open house with focused  presentations on our Primary Years Programme, as well as our PSSP and OSSD programmes.

AcadeCap is proud to be Ottawa’s first IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) authorized school in 2004! For children in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, the IB PYP nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. Its transdisciplinary approach ensures that learners make connections between, across, and beyond subjects.

The Pre-Secondary School Programme (PSSP) and Ontario Secondary School Diploma Programme (OSSD) is for students in Grade 7 to 12.  We maintain an overarching interdisciplinary approach throughout the PSSP (Grades 7 and 8) and a multidisciplinary approach at the OSSD (Grades 9 to 12) via our 3-tier 21st Century Learning Curriculum in which the following core competencies are developed:

• Communication
• Self-Management, Life and Career
• Collaborative Problem Solving
• Complex Problem Solving
• Literacies Proficiencies:  Media (ICT and Digital), Scientific, Financial and Entrepreneurship)
