​Biology 11 students are learning about the x-linkage type of genetic inheritance pattern. They are exploring a case study focused on the pedigree of Queen Victoria. Hemophilia was the result of a trait from one gene located on the X chromosome. The students use a problem based learning approach to practice critical thinking and analysis of sections of the pedigree.
