Today, the JK/SK learned what grouping was by using jetons.
After being given 20 jetons, they had to compare the number of jetons for each color.
Then, Madame Tabatha asked them to group the jetons in groups of two, four and five. They could easily figure out how many groups of each there were after that !
What a fun way to start learning about multiplication.
