Our Annual Corn Roast and Meet The Teachers event is on September 15, 2020, from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm.

This year’s event will look different. Due to COVID-19 safety requirements, the students were regretfully not permitted to shuck corn, and Chef Erick from Dial-a-Chef will not be able to serve food. Despite these set backs, we are still very much looking forward to the meet-and-greet component of this event.

Families will have the opportunity to meet and speak with their child’s teacher(s) as well as other AcadeCap families. We will have teachers set up outdoors by cohort. Our specialists will be around to answer questions as well.

This event will take place outdoors, (weather permitting) in our parking lot with space allocated for each class. We request that parents and students consistently maintain a 2 meter distance from each other, staff and other families.  It is also mandatory for everyone in attendance to wear a mask even if the event is taking place outdoors.

As we have many new faces at Acadecap this year, this would be a great opportunity for the community to finally meet in person.
