As we get toward the end of our unit of inquiry, some of our activities from this past week included presenting the “le héros c’est moi” drawings, working on the final copy of “une lettre à mon héros”, watching clips of real child heroes helping their communities, followed by a discussion about the who, what, where, when, why and how of being a child hero, and much more! Students even started an action plan about small things they can do to be child heroes. Looking forward to seeing the great letters that the students wrote to their heroes. We will finish off the unit with some reflection, and the students’ first blog post of the year.
(Oh, and I almost forgot…water polo started today!)
