The students of Académie de la Capitale recently competed in the annual Beaver Computing Contest developed by the Center for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) of the University of Waterloo. The contest is intended to get students excited about computer science and focuses on computation and logic.
Over 15,000 students wrote the Beaver Computing Contest worldwide in grades 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10. Twenty-three Académie de la Capitale students participated. Five of our students received certificates of distinction, placing in the top 25% of participants. Congratulations!
